Based at Byron Bay, Subtle Finish design and hand make a collection of unique handcrafted
mirror frames that are personalised, customised and one-off individual pieces.
Mirror styles range from beachy and rustic to antique classic French and English overmantles. Our range includes ovals, extra large mirrors, antiqued glass mirrors. We use traditional gilding and finishing techniques and specialise in subtle finishes.
At Subtle Finish we offer picture framing which is all hand finished as well as a restoration service for antique mirrors and furniture and feel proud to be creating frames today using traditional skills and techniques in woodworking, gilding and restoration which are sadly being lost.
Our workshop and retail space in Byron Bay's Arts and Industry Estate showcases our mirror and picture framing range as well as furniture, lighting and framed prints and artworks.
